Dog Grooming Stylist

We are looking for fully qualified, experienced dog groomers to join our team.

• Must have a dog grooming qualification.
• Must have experience in a dog grooming salon as a stylist.
• Must be able to work to a high standard.
• Ideally have a flexible approach as you may be asked to work additional days/hours during busy periods.

About you:

A love of dogs is essential for this role. You must be well presented and enthusiastic, have an eye for detail and be able to deliver results to a very high standard. You must be a people person as well as a pet lover as you will be representing the salon, therefore you must consider yourself to be polite and welcoming.

Hours and rates of pay to be discussed.

Dog Grooming Level 2 Apprenticeship

Do you have a love of animals and an artistic flair? Then we have the perfect position available for you!

We are looking for a positive, caring and passionate person, with a keen eye for detail, to join our expanding team.

The job Role will include:

• Deliver effective client and customer care.
• Maintain basic levels of product knowledge.
• Support the team with paperwork.
• Support other members of the team to maintain high standard of cleanliness.
• Assess animals’ condition and alert members of qualified staff of any conditions.
• Assist the team in preparing equipment before and after its use.
• Assist the team when required.
• Bath, blow dry and prepare the dog.
• Style dog according to client requirements. 
• Learn the different breeds, characteristics and behaviours.
• Learn how to handle the dogs correctly

30 hours a week, days and times will be varied.
